The company was founded in 1966 by the two brothers, always based in the Mansfield area, providing a quality repair service in the motor trade - leading to their becoming an approved repairer for the Bradford Pennine Group. This subsequently lead to gaining the approval of the Sun Alliance Group, later to become the Royal & Sun Alliance.
